About the project

CoinX is an AI-driven risk assessment tool that offers cryptocurrency investors 360° offerings. It’s essentially a one-stop shop for newbies and crypto enthusiasts alike. The main purpose of this platform is to help investors save time, build confidence in their crypto knowledge and investments, and make money.

CoinX and the UX Writing Academy team partnered together to achieve the following goals:

1. Ensure the platform is easy to use via a content audit, user testing, and reviving key copy on selected Coin and Security pages.
2. Creating a content style guide to support best practices and future content decisions as the company grows.

My Role

There were six UX writers assigned to this project along with 1 PM to ensure everything moved in a timely fashion and to answer any questions the writers may have.

My specific roles in this project were to:

1. Help conduct in-depth competitor analysis.
2. Develop tasks and hold two moderated online user testing sessions. One as a moderator and one as a notetaker.
3. Come up with copy suggestions for the Security Page.
4. Iterate on tooltip copy based on any key insights from user testing observations.
5. Present my work to stakeholders with the rest of the team.

The team created a Content style guide to provide strategic guidance on voice, tone, and terminology usage while helping scale content decisions at CoinX for future growth.
